Telman & Van Hoven is proud to present that our Dutch / German formation Etwas Tiefer will perform at Pride Amsterdam 2019! The Pride is going to be extra grand with Etwas Tiefer scheduled to put on a five-hour (!) performance on Saturday, 3rd of August. Etwas Tiefer will give their performance from the Amsterdam UMC boat.
The boats will start at the Scheepvaart museum at the eastern part of the city center moving towards the Amstel river. The floats will continue from there taking the Prinsengracht towards the Westerdok.
The Canal Parade starts around 12.30 pm and will take all afternoon. Enjoy the parade from one of the (busy) bridges or from the canal quays. After the parade you can visit one of the street parties to party on.
“We’re super excited to perform at Pride Amsterdam” said the front man of Etwas Tiefer. “It will be the first time for us. Pride Amsterdam is about acceptance, tolerance and bringing people together. This results in a beautiful day with lot’s of music, drinking, dressing in pink and having fun. If you’re in the Netherlands during this period we really suggest to join the party and of course wear something pink!”
It will be extremely busy during the parade, both on and off the water. However, the route along the canals is several kilometers long, so there are plenty of excellent viewing spots. The best photo opportunities are on sides of the bridges, but those spots are taken usually hours before the parade starts.
